Troubleshooting

Server not appearing in your AI client

• Verify the URL includes the trailing slash (e.g., …/solr/ not …/solr)
• Confirm your client supports Streamable HTTP transport
• Restart your AI client after changing the configuration
• Check that you are connected to the internet

Getting empty results

• Double-check the gene symbol or ID for typos
• Try using a different identifier (e.g., MGI ID instead of gene symbol)
• The gene might not have been phenotyped by IMPC yet — not all genes have data

Slow responses

• Large queries (e.g., requesting thousands of results) may take longer
• Try narrowing your query to get fewer, more relevant results
