Funding

The IMPC has several major funders and industry sponsors. All partners in the IMPC have their own funding streams, either in the form of grants or national funding.

NIH

As large majority of IMPC funding comes from the NIH. The NIH Knockout Mouse Programme (KOMP) project fund many of the centres. IMPC informatics and the data portal are supported by NIH grant U54 HG006370.

Infrafrontier

The Infrafrontier project is funded by the EU and funds the infrastructure used by some members of the IMPC. Infrafrontier also funds annual conferences, jointly organised by the IMPC that showcase the latest research involving animal models.
