Mouse Production
The IMPC is producing a catalogue of gene function. In order to achieve this goal, the centers involved in the IMPC need to produce knockout mice. Keeping track of the ongoing work is a vital part of making the IMPC successful and is critical to minimize duplication of effort and show the progress of the project to the rest of the world. The IMPC also strives to make the products available to the wider community so the IMPC deposits biological material (targeting vectors, embryos, sperm, etc.) into various distribution centers. Products available can be found at the end of each Gene page, in the “Order” section.
