The IMPC is pleased to announce the launch of Data Release 24! With this latest release, we are now providing more than 138 million data points to the research community worldwide. This release includes phenotyping data for 9,605 genes from 10,341 mutant lines, adding approximately 4.5 million new data points. The total number of phenotype calls is 111,664 in this release.
As with every release, Data Release 24 not only expands the breadth of available data but also reflects ongoing improvements to data analysis and presentation. Some of the highlights of this release include
- Updated the data reports for improved machine readability allow easier use of IMPC data.
- Improvements to our annotation pipeline ensure more accurate MP term assignment for sex-specific parameters.
- Links to external early‑lethal phenotype data from Tremblay group, University of Victoria, are now included.
Continuous refinements to our data processing pipelines and quality control procedures ensure that the IMPC resource remains robust, reliable, and aligned with the latest standards defined in IMPReSS. These updates help enhance consistency across datasets and support more accurate phenotype interpretation.
