The IMPC has launched Data Release 23! With this release, we’re now providing more than 100 million data points. This release features phenotyping data for 9,277 genes from 9,994 mutant lines, adding approximately 1.8 million new data points. The total number of phenotype calls has reached 113,803 with 2,318 new calls added in this release.

Along with the wealth of new data included in Data Release 23, the handling of body weight data in data analysis and building of body weights curves has been improved. Which body weight measurements are included in the data analysis and body weight curves are defined on IMPReSS and these were reviewed resulting a change in the handling of Indirect calorimetry body weights. To ensure consistency the body weight recorded before the Indirect Calorimetry experiment is now used in statistical analyses and body weight curves instead of the highest value out of the before and after weights. This has resulted in some changes to the phenotype calls for Indirect Calorimetry results.
