EMBL-EBI is hosting a webinar focusing on the data available on the IMPC website and how it can be explored. For those not yet familiar with IMPC this is a great opportunity to learn what IMPC has to offer; for those more familiar with IMPC the webinar also provides an overview of the new website features. EMBL-EBI provides world-leading training on scientific services and bioinformatics, reaching a wide range of scientific communities around the world increasing awareness of IMPC resources. For those looking to understand how this large dataset is generated and how it can be applied to human disease research, the upcoming webinar offers a guide to IMPC data.

During the session, participants will learn about the methods behind IMPC data generation and receive a guided tour of the IMPC website. Key features, such as the different types of data available on the website and how phenotypes are presented, will be explained, along with an exploration of how this valuable data can be used to investigate Mendelian diseases and how the PhenoDigm algorithm can be used to identify new models for human diseases.

While prior bioinformatics knowledge is not required, a basic understanding of biology at the undergraduate level will be helpful. Registration is required to join the webinar.
