The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC, mousephenotype.org) is an international effort with the mission to create a comprehensive, standardised catalogue of mammalian gene function that is freely available for researchers. Since it’s beginning 2011, IMPC has generated phenotyping data for 9,277 genes, making a great contribution to genetics.
With the current resources, the IMPC, including the NIH-funded Knockout Mouse Phenotyping Program (KOMP2), will not be able to complete the in vivo functional annotation of the human orthologous genome in the mouse by the end of the current funding cycle. Additional funding will be required for IMPC to continue with this important effort.
To help us continue deliver value to the scientific research community we have launched a survey to ascertain the level of interest and enthusiasm in continuing this project and to gather input on future directions/priorities.
Please provide your answers to our survey using the link below.
Survey should take approximately 10 min to complete. There is no deadline for the survey.
