Symposium to celebrate 10 years of the Australian Phenomics Facility in Canberra, Australia

Themes throughput the symposium will address the topics/questions:

"Latest DNA sequencing technologies now allow systematic linking of genomic variation in humans to disease phenotypes. How will we best use mouse models to validate the results from these human sequencing studies? How will clinical value be obtained from mouse models? Who will hold and curate the data frameworks for constant data mining? What is the way to organise national and international collaborations to form the knowledge networks for biomedical research?"
The meeting will include a public symposium at the Australian Academy of Science Shine Dome. Following the Symposium we are also holding a Asian Mouse Phenotyping Student Workshop. Find out more
