Successful IMPC Phenotyping Meeting held in San Francisco

Phenotypers, informaticians and other members of IMPC centers attended a phenotyping workshop on March 18-20th at the Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco. The goal of the workshop was to discuss the successes and challenges of generating and analysing data from the IMPC phenotyping pipeline. For two days, the group discussed standardizing protocols, how to upload data and use QC tools, and the statistical analysis platform being used to classify phenodeviant strains. By sharing knowledge, the IMPC members were able to resolve many issues and develop a roadmap for the continued success of the IMPC.
